Tasman Glacier Down Under
Tasman Lake (New Zealand, South Island), that is on the picture, was formed recently by the retreat of the Tasman Glacier. It is growing faster than ever - its length is increasing by around 180 m per year on average. The blocks of ice regularly break off the flowing glacier and float too peacefully on the lake's surface. Global warming hits this secret paradise and predictions are not looking good.
