
The Pokhara Formation - deposits emplaced in the wake of three earthquakes in medieval times
Massive sediment transport events in medieval times filled the Pokhara valley and its tributaries, Nepal, with tens of meters of gravel and boulders. Radiocarbon ages point to three events that coincide with known earthquakes in the region.
