Final effort
It sounded simple. Let's do an experiment: Need three hours. The sun is shining. But... not for long... Then - not everything works out as planned... and so it gets cold... and eventually turns dark. While the daylight is already fading, the indispensable calibration measurement for a valid dataset is completed - with a FINAL TEAM EFFORT. This picture was taken at our ASSESS-GPR site at the very end of one of our recent experiments where we monitor hydrologic processes with Ground-Penetrating Radar. See EGU2012-8869 for details.
