Mighty mountain peaks

Hiking at sunset during a very cold snowstorm, for a short moment, sunlight broke through the gloominess of this cloudy winter day. Being there at the right time was luck. The falling snow combined with the sinking sun made an interesting color pattern in the area. Five minutes later, this spectacular moment was gone. This place reminds me so much to Mordor from the Lord of the Rings. The huge and sharp mountain peaks, the hard wind, wintery conditions and endless view add to the feeling that you are on a different planet. Therefore this moment became a symbol for me.
