Evaporation in front of Ross Sea Ice Shelf (Antarctica)
Photo taken from R/V OGS Explora on 9 February 2017 in front of the Ross Sea Ice shelf during the 32° Italian Antarctic Expedition. Notwithstanding the low temperature of the sea, the water evaporated in the very dry and even colder air.
