
Aurora Borealis

This Aurora Borealis was captured in Northern Norway on February 21st, 2012 after a strong geomagnetic storm. Intense displays of the Aurora were visible in the polar regions following a long-duration M-class flare that began erupting on the Sun at 8:42 am ET on Thursday, January 19th, 2012.
