The surface rupture of the April 2016 Kumamoto earthquake bisecting a cone of Mt Aso, where the rupture arrested. This image illustrated the multi-hazard interaction of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, as the deformation from the earthquake contributed to the October eruption of Mt Aso.
