Majestic Monte San Lorenzo
Remote mountain massif (3706m) on the border of Chile and Argentina . Presently the most glaciated area outside of the Patagonian ice fields. These mountain glaciers, highly sensitive to climate, once merged and extended down the Patagonian steppe. Now ice-free valleys promise to hold an excellent record of past glacial change.
