
Regeneration in the Valle del Bove

The Valle del Bove lies just east of the summit of Mount Etna and is the remnants of a catastrophic collapse of the volcano during a past eruption. The Valle is littered with solidified lava flows and craters, a reminder of the dynamic nature of an active volcano.
