Small remnants of Schneeferner glacier at Zugspitze
Looking from the Environmental Research Station Schneefernerhaus over to the remnants of the "Schneeferner" at the highest German peak in the Alps, the Zugspitze. The former "Schneeferner" glacier is not moving anymore, and thus is now degraded to a snow field.
