I've got no roots on the ground
It seems nearly impossible, that an apparently harmless small sapling is growing in a dry desert ecosystem. But that the roots are perforating through an intrusive granite body which lasts for more than 125 million years tends to be a miracle. This picture shot at the area of the Spitzkoppe in Namibia shows the impressive power of life in such a deadly habitat and the power of a small sapling growing through a hard rock with even no roots on the ground.
