Mud cusps at Cap Blanc-Nez
View of the beach at Cap Blanc-Nez in Northern France at low tide. Fine clay and silt deposits can be found under many of the sandy beaches in the region. These cohesive deposits are exposed when the sandy sediment is washed away, forming interesting patterns which are best enjoyed from a slightly elevated position.
