Feeling the heat during an ERT survey at Ghor Al-Haditha
by Rob Watson, University College Dublin, Dublin, Ireland
Waiting for collection of Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) data to be completed at Ghor Al-Haditha, Dead Sea eastern shore, Jordan, during a field campaign in October 2018. It's pretty hot at the Dead Sea shore during October (40 °C in the shade!) and setting up the survey (hammering in electrodes and attaching cables to these) was pretty sweaty work. Sweet mint tea from the locals provided much needed hydration!
