Sunrise in the desert
I waited alone in the desert, as the sun rose in the east, and took a series of images that were blended into this day-to-night composite showing the progression of dawn until the first sunrays hit the cliffs opposite me. While this landscape is stunning, projected climate change predicts that more than 2/3 of the Earth's land surface will be drylands by the end of the century.
