A ghost lake or a dry snail?
A small alpine lake drained by water scarcity in one of the warmest summer ever over Italian Alps seems to depicts a small snail where only in its tummy we can glimpse some water inside. This small lake has quite totally disappeared in summer 2022 which was much warmer and drier than the average.
A message to draw attention once again how water is vital for humans, animals, and nature, and without it our ecosystem dies.
