Misty morning in Greenland Fjord
by Christof Pearce, Department of Geological Sciences, Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden
While doing ship-based marine fieldwork in Greenland fjords around Nuuk, one morning we woke up to this spectacular sight. The transition between the perfectly calm sea and misty sky is only visible because of the presence of several small icebergs. This picture was taken from aboard R/V Sanna of the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources.
