Within the magma chamber of Thrihnukagigur
by Mira Tammelin, University of Turku, Turku, Finland
The volcano Thrihnukagigur is a very unique place in the world. The magma chamber of the volcano has remained intanct and it can be visited by first crossing a lava field, then climbing up the cone, and finally descending to the bottom of the chamber with a small cable lift.
