
Deep ploughed Luvisol

Luvisol under cropland use that was deep ploughed (60 cm deep) in 1966 in order to improve the water infiltration capacity of the soil. You can see the diagonal stripes of the former topsoil that have been buried into the subsoil with the deep ploughing.
