Livaditis waterfall
by Konstantinos Kourtidis, Demokritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece
The Livaditis waterfall in the Rodopi mountains, Thrace, Greece. With around 40-60 m height it is probably the highest waterfall in the Balkans. Situated at about 1200 m above sea level within dense forest, the 2 hours hike was worth it!
