
Damaged meterological mast

Winter 1964-1965 on Agios Antonios peak, Mount Olympus. Two of the three supporting cables of the meteorological mast of the Meteorology Laboratory of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki were cut by lightning. The mast fell after some time due to overloading with ice and strong winds.
