
Storm at Mt.Cook
The image shows clouds during a storm around the peak of Aoraki/Mt.Cook in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Active weather system approaching from the West frequently batter the Main Divide and Mt.Cook and are, alongside the on-going tectonic activity, responsible for the highly dynamic geomorphological process-systems of this mountain ranges and it current glaciation.
