Pulling "the Dome" from NEEM to EastGRIP, Greenland
The Dome, part of the ice core drilling camp at NEEM was in summer 2015 pulled more than 400 km to its new position at the North East Greenland Ice Stream (NEGIS), where it again will function as home for international ice core scientists drilling an ice core to the bottom of the NEGIS, as part of the EastGRIP project, to learn about ice flow and paleoclimate.
