Shades of yellow of ambivalency
by Enes Zengin
A picture of geologist who are trying to settle a straight line for line surveying at basalt with discontinuity.
I took this photograp at one of our field trips. Students were trying to settle up a straight line for line surveying in order to define properties of disconuties. They were really suprised when they understant that there will be a huge difference sometimes between the theoretical knowledge and field conditions. The earth will always suprise us !
I took this photograph at one of the our field trips within the scope of the engineering geology course we gave at the undergraduate level. In the photo everything seems to have frozen for an momentary but a struggle lasting 24 hours is continuing uninterruptedly to meet Turkey's growing energy needs.
