
The size of a Cumulus

Picture taken from an airplane a few minutes before landing. I think there are 2 interesting features in this picture. The first one is of course the clear view of this Cumulus Congestus, standing in all its beauty. The second, and probably more interesting thing about this picture, is that it gives an idea about the size of this cloud. Looking at houses and villages below, one really gets a feeling of the dimensions of such clouds. They are really large.
